I shyed off of the Crafty Chicks thing because it became so strictly about knitting which I like but I don't really do/have time to start doing.
I've been sewing in some form or another since I was about 6 or 7 years old. I LOVE sewing and I'm looking to get back into it full force in the coming year. So if there are any fellow seamstresses out there, holla at ya girl!

It started with doctoring vintage clothes, then haphazardly making patterns from dresses i have, I have a young baby that isnt taking 3 hour naps anymore, so I am on hiatus, but I have found some awesome 70's patterns on ebay..

Tue, February 7, 2006 - 7:16 PMI sew.. have been for about 15 years. I made my bridesmaid dresses when hubby and I got married. I also made some cute dresses for my 2 yr old little girl, as well as doll clothes and repairs. I love sewing. It brings me satisfaction to see people wear stuff I make them or to see the curtains or what not I've made.
